Day 1-3
Cape Town
Upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be met and transferred to your Cape Town hotel.
Explore the Mother City and the fairest Cape. Start with the oldest buildings in South Africa, to trendy waterfront shopping, the majestic Table Mountain, sun-drenched beaches and dramatic seascapes to verdant vineyards. Cape Town regularly tops many lists of the world’s must-visit destinations. Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain has recently been voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Cosmopolitan and fashionable, the relaxed atmosphere and pavement café culture give Cape Town a southern European feel, but with a distinctive African twist.

Day 4-5
Cape Winelands
A tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a tour of the Cape Winelands. After a full day of exploring the various wine routes and enjoying wine tastings along the way, you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Franschhoek.
The village of Franschhoek is at the heart of the Franschhoek Wine Route and is surrounded by craggy mountains and verdant vineyards. Many of the 42 wine estates on the Franschhoek Wine Route offer informative guided wine tastings to the public as well as cellar tours or tours of the vineyards. Some of them also make cheese, chocolate and olive oil and offer tastings of these products alongside their wines. There is a hop-on hop-off Wine Tram, which visits some of these estates. Franschhoek village, South Africa’s “French Corner”, has a distinctly French feel and is undoubtedly South Africa’s gourmet capital, with several of South Africa’s Top Ten restaurants.

Day 6-7
Hermanus
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your guest house. Your hired vehicle is delivered to your guest house. You begin your journey to Hermanus, a seaside town home to the Southern right whale. If you are visiting between late June and December, we suggest a whale-watching boat cruise (optional – additional cost) or just viewing them from the shore.
Suggested activities: Take a whale-watching cruise along the Dyer Islands or visit local wine farms, art galleries and museums in town. Whale Watching Boat Cruise is an optional activity (at additional cost).

Departure
Enjoy your morning brunch and walk along the promenade before checking out of your guest house. You make your way to Cape Town Airport where you drop your hired vehicle and board your international flight home.
